At the Digital Cabaret, we’re looking for videos (not exceeding four minutes) that are new, interesting and relate to the monthly theme.
Genres: We welcome videos that are
- experimental video art
- music videos
- documentary shorts
- conventional narratives
Quality: Digital Cabaret is intended for everyman/woman filmmakers. We love low-budget and low-tech films as long as they are compelling and interesting. In fact, we’re big fans of the Flip Camera (no underhanded product placement here) or any user-friendly equipment.
Format for the event: Bring the video on a DVD disc with you to the event. We prefer a DVD but, as back up, you can also bring it on a thumb drive. There is no wireless internet access at Tangier (and plus we want new content, unseen by anyone).
